THE REASONS FACEBOOK WILL CONTINUE TO SURVIVE AMONGST ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS ; OOU STUDENTS EXPRESS THEIR OPINIONS

Olabisi Onabanjo University students express their opinions about the most widely used social media platform , Facebook . Examining this media as the most surviving social media platform amongst every other social media that exists. Akerele Mary , a student of Olabisi Onabanjo University said "Facebook has been in existence for a very long time, and it gives easy assess to people you've long lost contact with, it also makes networking easier". She further said that facebook is likely not to go into extinction, looking at how far it has survived despite the technological advancements.
Another student, from the department of psychology, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Richard said he prefer WhatsApp amongst all social media platforms but Facebook is best because he gets to learn new things ,
connect with loved ones and families, check out reels about people and see videos on documentary . 
     Adunni, a female student, from the department of mass communication said she loved TikTok and it's a very common platform among students. She said " well, I love and still uses facebook because , I still see those people I have seen long time ago or people who I lost their contact. To me that's amazing " . She said it's only Facebook that is able to connect you with lost contacts and people you ought to know. "It's an amazing media", she concluded.
 Joel, another male student said " Facebook has been in existence before the other social media platforms. And I think most people especially in Nigeria get to know Facebook social media before other social platforms. it's probably the first social media platform I ever thought of as a means to connect with my school friends when I was still in secondary school and a means to meet new people as well".
